Special Gandhi issue in India Perspectives (Jan-Mar 2008)

Adrian Loo highlights the special Jan-Mar 2008 issue of the journal "India Perspectives," dedicated to Gandhi and his philosophy of non-violence. One article (No. VIII) highights the American perspective and includes the background to and eventual adoption of nonviolence by Martin Luther King Jr. The articles are all bite-sized and make for an enjoyable and informative read.

Classic Singapore - a circulating powerpoint of ?postcards from the 60's

This is a circulating powerpoint is being highlighted in the Singapore Heritage Mailing LIst. A subscriber had archived the powerpoint which I exported as pdf and attaching to this post so see how posterous handles pdf. 
 
I've encountered this "Classic Singapore" series a few times bt there never is information about the source. Let me know if you have a clue but most of all, enjoy the pictures!
